Mission News – Cristy

It is time to turn in your “Found Money” – collected over this past year. This can be change found as you walk a long, in pockets and forgotten about, in the washer/dryer, and just about anywhere money finds a place to hide. The money is totaled and sent to Cristy, our mission sponsored child.

Cristy writes that:
My favorite people to see – my friends, she starts her day by cleaning the house and doing her homework.
Her favorite things to learn – to be able to cook.
The best things about my day – to be at school.
Her question for us – how is our health?
Her dream for the future is – to be an engineer.

Cristy is now 14 years old, and in good health. She is in the 8th grade, secondary school. She is learning about her culture and heritage and how it has shaped her community, family and herself. She is learning protection awareness, so they know what they need to do to make sure their community is safe for children and are committed to doing it.
