 LCPC Book Club
4th Monday of each month 7PM
The LCPC Book Club is selecting a wide variety of stimulating and thoughtful books for discussion this year. The group is open to visitors or new members anytime.

For May, the book discussion is The Rope Walk, by Carrie Brown. Although this novel takes place in the present times, it will probably remind you of your youth, and those summer days and nights spent playing with your favorite friends. The Rope Walk brings us the story of a pivotal summer in the life of Alice, a redheaded tomboy and motherless girl who is beloved and protected by her five older brothers and widowed father. One of the strengths of this coming-of age story is in the exquisitely poised writing.
At the May meeting, the books for summer reading will be determined. Bring your suggestions!
