The Joy Would Not End- A Poem by Rev. George Pasley

If you missed our breakfast service on January 1st, we’re going to be honest, you missed out on a great time! We had such  fun together in the fellowship hall eating delicious breakfast pastries and sipping coffee while Pastor Sandy helped us all find our JOY on the first day of a new year reading text in the form of a very moving poem based on Luke 2:1-20 from a dear pastor friend Reverend George Pasley. Even if you missed Sandy’s live reading, you will want to take a look at the slides below.

In this new year may we all remember: “We are loved by God. Loved, truly loved and not left to our own upon this planet to suffer and die.” (an excerpt from Rev. Pasley’s poem)

We look forward to many more joyful discoveries about how God is calling us to love and be loved this year together as a congregation. If you haven’t yet found your place or tribe to seek God with, we’d love it if you’d join us at Lake City Presbyterian.

Happy New Year Everybody!
